Duration: 42 minutes

Everyone has the occasional bad hair day – but what’s it like when you don’t have any good ones? On this episode of True Life, you’ll meet two young women who are so ashamed of their own hair they’ll do just about anything to make it disappear.

Rachel is an aspiring stylist who secretly keeps her own ultra-damaged locks hidden under a wig. But the burden of constantly lying about what’s really on her head is starting to take a toll. Will Rachel summon up the courage to uncover her real hair so she can finally get help to repair it?

Kristine is so repulsed by her own body hair that she’s been going to increasingly extensive – and expensive – lengths to get rid of it for good. But now her husband is retiring from the military and they no longer have the cash to spend on laser removal treatments. Will Kristine dial them back to maintain the peace at home — or will she risk everything to keep the laser burning?

Their follicular fixation is taking over their lives. Will they ever stop obsessing? Find out next on True Life: I Hate my Hair.
